The General Accountant Supervisor role at MiTek Vietnam is responsible for overall accounting activities, supporting the Chief Accountant in maintaining and ensuring compliance with the accounting system, and preparing reports as required by the company. This position also leads complex accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with legal standards and company policies, while effectively supervising accounting processes to support business objectives. This role also includes leadership responsibilities to guide and train team members.

1. Accounting and Tax Operations Management (10%)

· Manage and lead the team in performing accounting and tax operations, including but not limited to: daily and period-end journal entries, postings, tax declarations, etc.

2. Reporting & Communication: (20%)

· Prepare and submit financial statements in compliance with VAS and US GAAP by statutory deadlines.

· Ensure data integrity and clarity in all outputs meet the legal requirements.

· Provide timely and accurate reports as requested by Board of management.

· Complete monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts.

· Maintain reconciliation files for consolidated reporting through OneStream.

· Provide detailed P&L analysis by cost center or service line monthly.

· Highlight variances and recommend corrective actions.

· Participate in regular meetings with global finance teams to share updates, align on processes, and ensure effective collaboration across regions.

3. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Related-Party Transactions (10%)

· Review and validate monthly AR/AP reports.

· Ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances and proper documentation.

4. Tax Compliance - Tax Audit and VAT Refund (20%)

· Ensure accurate calculation, declaration, and payment of CIT, deferred CIT, VAT, FCT, etc., on time.

· Maintain compliance with local tax laws and corporate policies

· Support tax audits and manage related documentation.

· Process and track VAT refund claims until completion.

5. Project Implementation (20%)

· Support implementation of SAP ERP and Travel & Expense Management systems (Navan, VnTrip, etc.).

· Validate data migration and ensure process alignment for successful go-live.

· Coordinate with PwC for IFRS adjustments, conversion, and adaptation to local regulations.

· Deliver reconciled reports between VAS and IFRS.

6. Leadership & Training (20%)

· Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capability.

· Contribute to setting team goals and lead members to achieve those objectives

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support team members’ growth and development

7. Other reasonable tasks as assigned.
